Hi all -
The family and I will be traveling to Nashville for a couple of days next month. I haven't been there in 20 years and would love any recommendations that you might have for things to do, sights to see, places to stay/eat, etc... Especially things would be fun and interesting for kids (12, 9, and the baby) - ok, there may not be much there that would interest the baby, but I hope that we can find some fun things for the other two!
Thanks!

I haven't been to Nashville in 12 years, but I have always wanted to go to the Bluebird Cafe...It has a great rep for acoustic/country music, etc...It would definitely be on my list of places to see!

The kids might like the Opryland Theme park?

What about the country music hall of fame?

By the way, I am jealous...have fun!

Check the schedule at the Station Inn there is some great bluegrassy music going on there. The atrium at Opryland Hotel is pretty impressive. The Bluebird can be good sometimes.... Maybe a non native will know more things to do,

The theme park was closed a few years ago, replaced by the Opry Mills shopping Mall. Some folks now call it Shopryland.

Ahhh.... That's what happened to Opryland - too bad. I was trying to find info on it a few weeks ago and all I could find was that it was closed.

We don't have tons of free time, but are now planning to go to the CM Hall of Fame and Ryman. We may also do some wandering downtown, although it's probably going to be too hot for us to do much of that!

Thanks for the tips.

Ah, the Ryman...I visited that when I was there..I enjoyed that...

Interesting about Opryland..I think I do remember hearing about that...That is a shame..
