MAURA'S ALBUM "NAKED WITH FRIENDS" NOMINATED FOR GRAMMY AWARD

"Naked with Friends" has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Traditional Folk Album"! The nominations are listed on the NARAS website here:

The Grammys will be awarded on January 31, 2010. This is Maura's second nomination for a Grammy Award. Maura is very excited by this honor, and expressed her thanks and congratulations to her co-producer, Gary Paczosa and to all the wonderful singers who helped make NAKED WITH FRIENDS such a beautiful record. Also, kudos are due to the great folks at Sugar Hill Records and Welk Music Group.

In a good omen for the upcoming Jerry Christmas Tour, John Oates is also nominated in the "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group (with Vocals)" category. Dates for that tour, as well as other upcoming Maura shows are posted below.


JERRY CHRISTMAS, IRISH HOMECOMING and CELTIC CONNECTIONS

Maura is doing an east coast swing with Jerry Douglas in support of his new CD, "Jerry Christmas". Also along for the ride is John Oates. Maura is also appearing in the popular "Irish Homecoming" show with Cherish the Ladies for one night in Calgary, Alberta. Then, in January, she does three separate appearances at The Celtic Connections festival.
