I am seeking a site that has lyrics for Maura's CD Just in Time. Does anyone know of such?
Thanks!

I'm trying to remember, but I'm pretty sure that the lyrics are in the CD booklet; are there no lyrics in your copy of the CD?

The lyrics aren't in the CD booklet, which is just front, back and 2 inside pages but no lyrics. It was from 1989 and on Rounder Philo, if that helps any.

Mac, thank you very much! Water is Wide is traditional so I was familiar with it, and had found the lyrics to If You Loved Me, and Feet of a Dancer, but had not located those other two links.
Should I run across any others, I'll post their links here. I'm new to enjoying Maura's music, but I have loved this album and will have to try another!

Mac , you are a gem among web-admins!
I'd run across Love's Old Sweet Song just a bit ago, but had been over finding the words to Leavin' Neidin. Now I am on the hunt for Another Morning; should I find it, I shall be perfectly happy.
Again, many thanks!

Any recommendation for which of her CDs I should try next? Just in Time is a wonderful album, and I have the single (purchased from Wal-Mart as a download) of So Soft Your Goodbye.

Hard question....
One of my favorites is "Blue it the Color of Hope." The Blue Train is one of my favorite songs. "Stories" is also a great one. Maura made this CD when she left her previous record label. It was her first CD on her own label. Of course, "Wandering Home" is also a great one. It contains some songs that Maura learned while growing up. "Dont I KNow is her current one. It is another winner
If I had to pick one, I would say "Stories" might be a good place to start.
However, there is not a bad album in the bunch!

My advice is to read the song listings and see which songs interest you the most, the albums are all so good, not one is uneven in my opinion, so you won't go wrong no matter which one you dip into. I think the last two have been particularly strong and I agree with Mike that "Stories" is a very good place to start.

I'm still hunting this, but about to give up. The actual title is One Day Closer and it was written by Jonathan Edwards, on his CD by the same name.

From Maura, who transcribed this for us:
One Day Closer (Another Morning) written by Jonathan Edwards
Just another daybreak
Walking holes in the rug
Just another sunrise
looking out of this hole I dug
It's just another morning
But it gets a little lonely now and then
And I'm one morning closer
to having you back again.
Just another daytime
Watching for the mailman
Just another long day
Wishing you were holding my hand
It's just another afternoon
with a heartache waiting up around the bend
And I'm one day closer
to having you back again
CHORUS:
Morning, noon and night
Nothing I do without you's right
And oh my love
Every day to you I'll sing
That I am one day closer
to having you back again
Yes I am one day closer
To having you back again.
Just another sundown
closing it up and going home
Just another evening
Kitchen table, all alone
It's just another long night
wide awake with the way back when
But I'm one night closer
to having you back again.
CHORUS
Cause morning noon and night
nothing I do without you's right
and oh my love
Every day to you I'll sing
that I am one night closer
to having you back again
Yes I am one morning closer
to having you back again
And I am one day closer
to having you back again ....
One day ....

I was wondering if Maura could transcribe the lyrics to the song, "American Pie?" Yuk, yuk... (you see, it is a really long song...) God, I have too much time on my hands.
Seriously...That was nice of Maura to do that...Where else could posters get such personalized attention?
